Standard Costs

At CPA Planning Design we do not profit from the normal expenses associated with our services and only pass them on to our clients. In our commitment to being transparent, please find below all standards costs in detail.

Large Format Printing

A2 Black & White - £2.50
A2 Colour - £4.00
A1 Black & White - £3.00
A1 Colour - £5.50
A0 Black & White - £3.75
A0 Colour - £7.50

For the printing of large drawing sets, we primarily use TMS Ltd who have provided CPA Planning Design with a reliable service at a reasonable price for many years. We also rely upon the services of KallKwik who are based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Their print prices are as follows (correct as of 2013):

A2 Black & White - £2.20
A2 Colour - £6.00
A1 Black & White - £3.20
A1 Colour - £8.00
A0 Black & White - £4.80
A0 Colour - £12.00

Ordnance Survey Extracts

We purchase digigal (not paper) versions of Ordnance Survey Data, for this reason costs do vary between £30-50 (inc. VAT). While this may be higher than purchasing printed map extracts, the file format we choose allows for multiple prints at almost any required scale (commonly 1:1250 and 1:500). Typically planning applications require both a context and site plan at separate scales, therefore we are 'buying once and using twice', saving our clients unnecessary expenses. Using this method also allows the automatic gathering of area information and time effective insertion into the application drawings.

Mileage / Travel Costs

Our charge per mile is £0.50, we also charge for duration of travel to the nearest 15 minutes.

Please note: We do not charge mileage for sites within a 5 mile radius of Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Methods of payment

We receive payment by cheque, BAC's (Electronic Payment) or Paypal.

Please note, we currently do not accept any form of Cryptocurrency.
